Last week when I started Weight Watchers I had crept back up to 186 pounds, this morning I weigh 184, so over the week I have lost a total of 2 pounds (4 overall).
I’m disappointed to say the least. Not by the fact that I’ve lost 2 pounds, just by the fact that it’s been such a slow process up until now. I want to be at 20 pounds weight loss by July 31st, that that is 37 days (5 weeks) away, so to be at 168 by July 31st, I need to lose 4 pounds a week! I don’t think it’s possible.
The Wii Fit will show you graphs of your weight progress. Back in January I was 178 – how did I gain 10 pounds since Christmas? Why didn’t I start then, why wasn’t I in the right mindset then? In 6 months I could have been skinny by now. It’s just so frustrating.
I know that a loss is a loss, and I get it – I’ve told people that myself. I don’t have to like it though.
So, starting yesterday (literally I actually did) I wiped off the dust on my EA Active Wii Game, and worked my big butt out. I will do this AT LEAST 3 times a week after work. For those of you that do have a Wii, I highly recommend purchasing EA Active; however EA Active 2 was announced at E3 last week, and it looks even more amazing. I have had a personal trainer before, and nothing kicks my butt more than that game, which is likely why I stopped doing it, and went from 178 to 188 in 6 months time.
Maybe if I repeat it to myself enough times I will be happy…A loss is a loss… A loss is a loss…. A loss is a loss…
