Well that time is here. Almost. Last Friday we went and signed the lease officially (our landlords live out of town), and they told us the golden day for the key handover will be February 22 (a whole week early!). Funny enough, I discovered last night that February 22 will be exactly 6 months after our first sleepover. How time has flown, but at the same time... I feel like my life stood still and entered this calm state of sheer bliss. Six months of sheer bliss (at home, work not so much). We're moving fast (no pun intended hardy har har), but to quote a favourite from When Harry Met Sally, "when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."

 So since the last tenants moved out at the beginning of this month, the house is empty and we're able to sneak in whenever to get our painting done before we move in.

So that's that. I loveeee the kitchen. I love the space. I love the brick. I love the man bathroom. I love that it's going to be our home. And, I love more than anything who I'm going to be sharing with it.
